KEITH PRO - INDIE BAND GURU - Review of FORSAKEN VETERAN OF THE DRUG WARS -  MARCH 2016

"Most of the best music out there has a real story to tell behind it.  It becomes even better when 2 seemingly completely different individuals can combine to share their take on a common issue.  This happened perfectly recently with a rapper and folk artist coming together for a common goal." Miss Piggy Journalist - Review of Humanology 101- September 2012

"Song Humanology 101 asks "where are we from from? How did we get here? Are we products of our parents?", and reflects on Bob Crain's own meditations on his relationship with wartime parents. He has also discussed the style sheet given to us by the 60s generation of festival music lovers and record collectors."

"It is a whole lotta fun, with American vocal on the new folk singer songwriter sound"

"Bob Crain is the real deal, from America and the baby boomer wild child generation that gave birth to the kind of music we like"

Industry / Muso Comments

September 2012

Bob and Andy,

** TV Rockstars - pop rock Folk rock that is perfectly arranged and performed. This song has catchiness in melody and rhythm all the way. Love the drumming and the loose indie rockness of it. This sounds cool, current and classic too. This is the track I'd like to use for the radio campaign for sure. IT RULES! It's upbeat, fun and it's about radio, rock star, and playing it again!

Having a lunch break from mixing Bob Crain's new cd, great acoustic stuff (i dig his early 70's Martin guitar), the song I'm working on now has Zachary Johnston guesting on violin. check out Bob he has a lot to say, and he doesn't sing love songs (thank christ!)...Adrian Akkerman Incubator recording.
