CHESS (War Is Not A Game) – Demo
The next recruit in my Isolation Demonstration Series CHESS
Pretty simple worldwide message here, stop using young men and women as fodder in your wars for profit and power.
It has been going on for ages, while some wars have been just and unavoidable far too many young men and women have been sacrificed for profit, power, religion, ideology, resources, political showboating and just plain hatred.
Death and injury to the youth of the world is the cost of war while old men sit safe at home moving pieces and sending young men and women to the slaughter like they are playing Chess. It’s not a game young people die or are crippled physically or mentally for life then abandoned on the sidelines as if a fallen piece in a game of Chess. Governments, dictators, religious kings and wannabe rules sacrifice pawns, bishops and knights to achieve their agenda but those pieces don’t, if they are still alive, share in the spoils.
You would think as an intelligent race we would have found a way to stop this military backed adventurism and the terrible cost to humanity that it brings, but it continues daily around the world.
Come on folks surely we are better than this.
CHESS – Lyrics
The Universal Solider rode with Jeb Stuart through the Shenandoah,
Fought with Grant at Vicksburg, died with Custer at Little Big Horn,
Fought Bluecoats at Wounded Knee and the Brits in New Orleans.
Led the charge up San Juan Hill held the bridge at Remagen,
Wielded a sword when the Light Brigade charged Held the right flank through the artillery barrage .
Trudged through the jungles knee deep in mud Baked in the desert the sand and the sun
Moved around like human chess pieces followed orders lived or died they did as they were told
All for the glory of country not the gore of the fight or the prizes the victors would hold
The Army of Northern Virginia the Army of the Rising Sun
The Roman Army marched on the French battled in Vietnam
Genghis Khan and his Mongol hordes Crusaders on behalf of the Lord
Germans frozen outside Leningrad Russians perished in Afghanistan
Like so many pawns on the chess board the chess board of world power
Knights, Bishops Castles and Pawns moved by the King in the tower
Moved around like human chess pieces he followed orders lived or died he did as he was told
All for the glory of country not the gore of the fight or the prizes the victors would hold
The Universal Soldier just young men like your son
Young men like your brother the smiling happy one
Young men moved like chess pieces by the hands from above
Killing each other falling like two pieces on a board
Wielded a sword when the Light Brigade charged Held the right flank through the artillery barrage .
Trudged through the jungles knee deep in mud Baked in the desert the sand and the sun
Moved around like human chess pieces followed orders lived or died they did as they were told
All for the glory of country not the gore of the fight or the prizes the victors would hold.
The Universal Soldier like chess pieces on a board The Universal Soldier like chess pieces on a board
