It’s always a pleasure when a radio show, blogger, reviewer or other music based outlet picks up one of your songs out of the blue and plays it on the radio or a podcast. So it was great to have Oliver Sean from WOAFM99 in the UK include FASHIONABLE INDIGNATION as performed by FOLK IN THE ROAD in his podcast and program this month.

Oliver’s independent music podcasts are listened to around the world, he has over 200,000 followers on his various different media outlets. There are some really nice songs in the show, he has a bit of a chat about each artist and song.

Oliver found FASHIONABLE INDIGNATION to be “hysterical” a different take for sure than the intention of the writer. That just goes to prove the lyrics in another song of mine THE MEANING OF THIS SONG … listeners can hear the meaning of a song differently to the intention of the writer … but that’s OK.

“What you hear might be what I play but it makes you feel a different way

What I write well it might be day but what you hear may be the dark of night”

The podcast is available here and it is on Spotify, Apple Music, Soundcloud, Facebook, Youtube and others so have a listen to the podcast … you have to wait to the last song to hear FASHIONABLE INDIGNATION … saved the best for last.
